The meeting place is the Platia (square) in the mountain village Potamia. Through the woods it goes above the bay of Chrissi Ammoudia (Golden Beach) towards Panagia. It offers fabulous views of the bay and the slate-covered houses of Panagia. In Panagia arrived you have the opportunity to learn about the traditional architecture of the village. At the Platia (square), you can watch the daily life of the locals, fill up your water bottle at the fountain and enjoy a Greek coffee. A visit to the traditional olive press shows how in 4th generation olive oil is produced, which is among one of the 10 best in the world.

After our visit in Panagia you are going downhill towards Chrissi Ammoudia (Golden Beach). Along the way, we pass the impressive dragon's cave. Here the first settlers found on Thasos protected themselves against the pirates. The tour continues above the bay with fantastic views down to the Golden Beach. Here you can enjoy a dip in the crystal clear water and let your mind wander in one of the beach cafes.
